Knowing God in truth
There are two sessions per week on each topic below, discussing the deep mysteries of the hidden benefits of each topic. We also give room through out the week for the words that were spoken to take root in each individual so the words will yield to be fruitful in the believers life. We do this by providing prayer and meditation on each session.
10-WEEK CLASS
COMING INTO THE KNOWLEDGE OF WHO YOU ARE IN CHRIST, 1 TIMOTHY 2:3
SESSIONS
Week 1: The Kingdom of God: – Seeking the Kingdom of God and His righteousness is what we are called to do as our first assignment once we have received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. For it is written, “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear? For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you, Matthew 6:32,33 NKJV.
Week 2: Mercy and Grace – We can do nothing of substantial worth without God’s mercy and grace, it is necessary to learn its implications, also when and how to engage them. For it says, “So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy”, Romans 9:16 KJV.
Week 3: Love – God is love, when we love genuinely we show the world that we are children of God. Love truly is a powerful force that cannot be overcome. When we do not love it conveys the message that we do not care for ourselves, nor for God, nor for our fellow man/women. For it is written, A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples (true followers of Jesus Christ), if you love one another” John 13:34-35 NIV.
Week 4: Light – Light me Lord, Light me Lord, Light me Lord like a candle! If there is no light, it only means one thing, darkness is looming. We come to the light, that we may see clearly which path to take, it leads us to make correct decisions, it allows us to live goodly lives. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light, Genesis 1:3 KJV.
Week 5: Purity – To keep your heart pure, is one of the most powerful weapons a believer can leverage against the enemy. It is no coincidence they are blessed their hearts are empty of all ills and negative devices and open to all of God’s goodness and his promises. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God, Matthew 5:8 KJV.
Week 6: Humility – A character needed by every believer to face the vicissitudes of life. Through humility we understand situations/circumstances and humility forces it to favor us. “By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life”, Proverbs 22:4 KJV.
Week 7: Power – As a believer without power you will always feel defeated. We must be empowered by his word, his light, his love and his truths. It says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name”, John 1:12 KJV.
Week 8: Wisdom – The one incomparable, most desirable virtue above all things….wisdom. We can not trade it for anything and receive equal value for wisdom. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding, Proverbs 4:7 KJV.
Week 9: Liberty – We obtain liberty by his spirit when he truly lives within us, if we can believe it in our minds and in our hearts. Now the Lord is that Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty, 2 Corinthians 2:17 KJV.
Week 10: Intense Prayer & Meditation – We will have 2-3 days praying the words of God that we have learned throughout the 9 weeks into our spirit. For it is written, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart”, Hebrews 4:12 NIV. Therefore any and every unfavorable thing (sickness, addiction, barrenness, loneliness, anger, poverty, etc) manifesting in our lives must give way because the Word of God will come alive within us and by the power of His word we will overcome and overtake, we will rise and go forward and possess our portion in Heaven and in Earth, in the name of Jesus Christ!
